Freely configurable PID logic controller
The AVD 512 is a freely configurable PID logic controller developed for temperature regulation and control of: district heating substations, thermal power plants, small production plants. The controller is designed to be adaptable to a wide range of applications and typical system layouts.
The AVD 512 controller consists of three modules:
AVD 512R
The AVD 512R module is the central unit of the AVD 512 controller; it has both digital and analog inputs and outputs, interfacing with field instrumentation to acquire information and control actuators and motors. Operations management is handled by a state-of-the-art microcontroller that ensures reliability and fast processing. All sensitive information such as firmware, variables, and events are stored on the latest generation of non-volatile memories, so there is no need for a backup battery to retain this data.
AVD 512PS
The AVD 512PS Module is essentially the power supply of the AVD 512 controller. It provides: all necessary operating voltages to the AVD 512R module through a simple and convenient flat-cable connection; a 24Vac voltage (max 1A) for powering field devices (actuators, etc.).
AVD 512DS
The AVD 512DS module is not just a remote alphanumeric display; it is an intelligent component that, like the AVD 512R module, integrates a state-of-the-art microcontroller for menu and control variable management. The implemented menus allow for easy and intuitive setting, configuring, and activation of all control variables and system functions. Readings, commands, and variables are grouped in an easily accessible and intuitive menu.
The AVD 512 controller offers the following features:
